• Appen har ingen konto og ingen innlogging. Vi spør ikke om e-post, telefonnummer eller alder.
• Legger du inn et resultat på en toppliste, vises navnet du skriver for alle.
• Anonym bruksstatistikk sendes bare hvis du har sagt ja, og du kan ombestemme deg i Innstillinger.
• Appen har ingen reklame. Vi selger ingen opplysninger og sporer deg ikke på tvers av andre apper eller nettsteder.

Bare hvis du selv legger inn et resultat, lagrer vi:

• navnet du skriver inn. Det vises offentlig, så bruk gjerne bare fornavn eller et kallenavn.
• poeng, antall riktige svar, hvilken quiz, eventuelle merkelapper du legger til, og tidspunktet.
• en ID for enheten (på iPhone og iPad en ID Apple lager for våre apper, på Android Android-ID-en). Den brukes til å vise dine egne resultater og til å stoppe juks, og vises ikke for andre.

Formålet er å vise topplistene, som du har bedt om å være med på. Opplysningene lagres i en database hos Supabase i EU, via vår server hos Vercel.

Du kan rapportere et navn ved å trykke på det i topplisten, og skjule det for deg selv. Rapporter går på e-post til oss. Navn som er upassende, endrer eller fjerner vi.

Full tilgang kjøpes gjennom App Store eller Google Play. Vi ser aldri betalingsopplysningene dine. RevenueCat behandler kjøpskvitteringen og en anonym kunde-ID, slik at appen vet om du har full tilgang. Formålet er å levere det du har kjøpt.

Appen spør om du vil dele anonym statistikk. Sier du ja, sendes:

• hvilke skjermer, quizer og nøtter som brukes, resultater i spillene, og hvor folk gir seg
• kjøp og avbrutte kjøp, og om du har full tilgang
• feil og krasj i appen
• telefonmodell, operativsystem, appversjon, språk og omtrentlig land eller by ut fra IP-adressen. Selve IP-adressen lagres ikke.

Statistikken er knyttet til en tilfeldig ID for installasjonen, ikke til navnet ditt eller topplistene. Kjøper du full tilgang, kobles kjøpshendelsene fra RevenueCat til den samme tilfeldige ID-en, slik at vi kan se hvordan kjøp henger sammen med bruken.

Statistikken lagres hos PostHog i EU (Tyskland), i høyst sju år. Vi bruker den bare til å forbedre appen. Grunnlaget er samtykket ditt. Du trekker det tilbake i Innstillinger → Statistikk → «Ikke del». Da sendes ingenting mer.

Kartet kommer fra Mapbox. For å vise kartet henter appen kartdata fra Mapbox, som da får IP-adressen og tekniske opplysninger om enheten. Appen ber aldri om posisjonen din, og Mapbox sin egen bruksstatistikk er slått av.

Quizer, tekster og Dagens quiz hentes fra vår server hos Vercel. Serveren ser IP-adressen som en del av forespørselen. Den brukes ikke til noe annet og ligger bare i kortvarige tekniske logger.

Bare med tjenesteleverandørene som er nevnt over: Supabase, Vercel, RevenueCat, PostHog og Mapbox, og Apple og Google ved kjøp. De behandler opplysningene på våre vegne etter avtale, og skal beskytte dem minst like godt som denne erklæringen sier. Vercel, RevenueCat og Mapbox er i USA. Overføringen dit skjer etter EUs standardavtaler eller EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

• Topplisterader: så lenge topplisten finnes, eller til du ber oss slette dem.
• Statistikk: høyst sju år.
• Kjøp: så lenge du har eller har hatt et abonnement, og ellers så lenge regnskapsreglene krever.

Du kan be om innsyn i, retting av og sletting av opplysninger om deg, og du kan protestere mot behandlingen. Send en e-post til mail@simengjermundsen.com med navnet du har brukt og omtrent når, så finner vi radene. Du kan også klage til Datatilsynet.

198 Land passer for alle aldre og spør ikke om alder. Vi anbefaler at barn ikke bruker fullt navn på topplistene. Foresatte kan be oss slette et barns resultater på mail@simengjermundsen.com.

Endrer vi denne erklæringen, oppdaterer vi datoen øverst. Store endringer sier vi fra om i appen.

• The app has no account and no sign-in. We do not ask for your email, phone number or age.
• If you add a result to a leaderboard, the name you type is shown to everyone.
• Anonymous usage statistics are sent only if you have said yes, and you can change your mind in Settings.
• The app has no ads. We sell no data and do not track you across other apps or websites.

Only when you add a result yourself, we store:

• the name you type. It is shown publicly, so consider using a first name or a nickname.
• your score, number of correct answers, which quiz, any tags you add, and the time.
• an ID for the device (on iPhone and iPad an ID Apple creates for our apps, on Android the Android ID). It is used to show your own results and to stop cheating, and is not shown to others.

The purpose is to show the leaderboards you chose to take part in. The data is stored in a Supabase database in the EU, through our server at Vercel.

You can report a name by tapping it on the leaderboard, and hide it for yourself. Reports reach us by email. We change or remove inappropriate names.

Full access is bought through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat processes the purchase receipt and an anonymous customer ID so the app knows whether you have full access. The purpose is to deliver what you bought.

The app asks whether you want to share anonymous statistics. If you say yes, it sends:

• which screens, quizzes and puzzles are used, results in the games, and where people give up
• purchases and cancelled purchases, and whether you have full access
• errors and crashes in the app
• phone model, operating system, app version, language, and approximate country or city from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.

The statistics are tied to a random ID for the installation, not to your name or the leaderboards. If you buy full access, the purchase events from RevenueCat are linked to the same random ID so we can see how purchases relate to use.

The statistics are stored with PostHog in the EU (Germany) for at most seven years. We use them only to improve the app. The legal basis is your consent. You withdraw it in Settings → Statistics → “Don’t share”. Nothing more is sent after that.

The map comes from Mapbox. To show it, the app loads map data from Mapbox, which then receives the IP address and technical information about the device. The app never asks for your location, and Mapbox’s own usage statistics are turned off.

Quizzes, texts and the daily quiz are loaded from our server at Vercel. The server sees the IP address as part of the request. It is not used for anything else and is kept only in short-lived technical logs.

Only the service providers named above: Supabase, Vercel, RevenueCat, PostHog and Mapbox, and Apple and Google for purchases. They process the data on our behalf under agreement and must protect it at least as well as this policy says. Vercel, RevenueCat and Mapbox are in the United States; transfers there rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

• Leaderboard rows: as long as the leaderboard exists, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Statistics: at most seven years.
• Purchases: as long as you have or have had a subscription, and otherwise as long as accounting rules require.

You can ask for access to, correction of and deletion of data about you, and you can object to the processing. Email mail@simengjermundsen.com with the name you used and roughly when, and we will find the rows. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

198 Land is suitable for all ages and does not ask for age. We recommend that children do not use their full name on the leaderboards. Parents can ask us to delete a child’s results at mail@simengjermundsen.com.

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. We announce significant changes in the app.

By downloading or using 198 Land, you agree to be bound by this agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

198 Land grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with the app’s terms.

You agree not to copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the app; rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the app; or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.

198 Land reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the app or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.

This EULA shall remain in effect until terminated by you or 198 Land. 198 Land may, in its sole discretion, at any time and for any or no reason, suspend or terminate this EULA with or without prior notice.

If any provision of this EULA is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

198 Land reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace this EULA at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
